Edwards Sitting Room

This living room project offered the perfect opportunity for a facelift—a thoughtful update where we removed old DIY cabinets that had seen better days and replaced them with custom-built furniture pieces. We also rebuilt the chimney breast to ensure everything was level and neat. Drawing inspiration from mid-century modern design and blending it with contemporary elements, we created sleek and functional cabinetry that seamlessly combines style and practicality.

The cabinetry is crafted from a mix of black and grey Valchromat, paired with the natural warmth of oak plywood to complement the existing oak flooring. The result is a striking contrast that adds both sophistication and warmth to the space. With clean lines, modern materials, and an emphasis on simplicity, the new cabinetry elevates the room’s aesthetic, offering modern charm while providing ample storage.
